This course introduces students to the broad and expanding area of Health Science and Social Care. It will provide you with the skills, knowledge, and qualification to work as a care assistant or it can provide a foundation for those who intend to enter the nursing profession.

The Pre Nursing course introduces students to the caring role of the nurse and emphasises the importance of interpersonal communication. The course introduces students to the theories and practices of nursing, it provides students with a working knowledge of hospitals and nursing homes. It also helps candidates gain an understanding of the fundamentals of nursing and equips them with the skills and knowledge to care for patients in a safe and hygienic environment. Furthermore, this course can facilitate progression to third-level Nursing and Healthcare programmes. 

The Healthcare courses will give those wishing to work in the healthcare system a thorough grounding in the necessary skills. The course is relevant and highly practical, with each module focusing on a specific area of care.
